A journey to the moon exactly how it happened 40 years ago
From countdown to the moon, a 4 days real time experience with the help of Nasa, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Apollo 11
In 2010 I was the lead designer for this incredible project, an interactive website to replicate exactly what happened 40 years ago.
With the help of the JFK Museum we were able to use all the real content and footage from the journey of Apollo 11, transforming the experience into a great documentary using all the real audio, photos and footage from Nasa.
The complete journey took 4 days and the project was watched by millions of people around the world, and became news headlines everywhere.
We choose the moon became one of the most awarded projects of that year, including a Cannes Titanium Lion and become a fixed experience inside the JFK Museum.
It was also consider The FWA Of The Year.
